I really enjoyed this, Nan. I love that who you are at your best is a writer. I think those of us who are gifted with writing filter all life experiences through writing. All the great writers in the past have done this and we need to carry the torch to the next generation. One of my favorite writers, Ernest Hemingway, wrote about the world he saw and experienced. He didn't water the truth down but wrote it through his own lens.
Who is my best self is a question we all need to ask ourselves. As for me, who I am when I am my best is an encourager. I use words to uplift others and myself. I spread Light wherever I go. Why? Because when Light is shining bright, the darkness flees.
As women, we are pulled in so many directions, different tasks, responsibilities, multi-hyphenates, and experts on all. I'm at my best doing whichever task I'm currently working on.
That’s a great thought, Denise. As women, we are pulled in many ways… I love that you are at your best when you’re working on whatever is taking priority. Hugs!
Great food for thought, Nan. I like to think I'm at my best when I am making someone laugh. I'm no comedian by any means, but if I can get a smile or chuckle out of someone, then mission accomplished.

Yes, you are one of the very best encouragers I know and how blessed I am to have you in my corner! Hugs!

Bringing smiles or laughter to others is a precious gift and you do always make me smile, J.C.!
