I don’t talk a lot about my first foray into book publishing a lot because my focus, naturally enough, is on my current releases with Tule Publishing. But I do have a whole other series that I love--one of the books--Once More From the Top-- is the novel that put me on the USA Today Bestseller List. I published the books as an indie because at the time, my agent and I couldn’t get anyone interested in reading romance with characters in their, oh heavens! forties and fifties. Now seasoned romance is a real thing and readers of a certain age are loving stories about people they can relate to. The books are little spicier than my River’s Edge or cowboy novels, but they have the same kind of gentle beta heroes and spunky heroines.

The Women of Willow Bay is a series of four books about four remarkable women in their prime. In our youth-crazed society, it’s easy to forget that romance is not the exclusive property of twenty- or even thirty-somethings. The Women of Willow Bay series presents love stories for grown-ups, because love can happen to anyone at any age, women only grow more interesting, and you’re never too old for a little sexy romance.

Gratitude for this week: A couple of lovely warm days, a long walk with Grandboy and the granddogs, yoga class started, Husband got a good report from the oncologist--two more years and we’re at five years cancer-free! We got the pampas grass cut back for in anticipation of spring.
